श्री बनेश्वर शिक्षण संस्था, बनसारोळाचे संस्थापक कै. पू. नारायणराव रामराव काळदाते (दादा) यांच्या दूरदर्शी नेतृत्वाखाली, सन १९८३ मध्ये भावठाणा या छोट्याशा गावात शिक्षणाची ज्योत पेटवण्याचा संकल्प करण्यात आला.

भावठाणा आणि परिसरातील खेडेगावातील विद्यार्थ्यांना माध्यमिक शिक्षणासाठी दूरच्या शहरांत जावे लागत असे. हे कष्टकरी व शेतमजूर कुटुंबांतील मुलांसाठी अशक्यप्राय होते. या वेदनेतूनच साने गुरुजी विद्यालय, भावठाणा या शाळेची निर्मिती झाली.

ज्यांचे संपूर्ण जीवन बालकांसाठी, समाजासाठी समर्पित होते, त्या थोर समाजसुधारक पांडुरंग सदाशिव साने — "साने गुरुजी" यांच्या नावाने शाळेला नाव देण्यात आले. हे नामकरण म्हणजे संस्थेच्या मूल्यांचेच प्रतिबिंब होते — माया, सेवा, शिक्षण.

साने गुरुजी विद्यालय भावठाणा हे अंबाजोगाई तालुक्यातील दुर्गम, डोंगरी, ग्रामीण भागात वसलेले एक महत्वपूर्ण शैक्षणिक केंद्र आहे. या विद्यालयाची स्थापना जून 1983 मध्ये झालेली असून अनेक वर्षापासून ग्रामीण भागातील विद्यार्थ्यांना गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षण देण्याचे कार्य विद्यालय सातत्याने करत आहे. शाळेला शासनमान्यता प्राप्त असून मान्यता क्रमांक एस.एस. एन-1083/6797/एन/माशि-1 दिनांक 23/05/1983 आहे. विद्यालयाने शिक्षण क्षेत्रात आपली स्वतंत्र ओळख निर्माण केलेली आहे.
संस्थापकांचे योगदान व प्रेरणादायी कार्य:- साने गुरुजी विद्यालय, भावठाणा या विद्यालयाच्या स्थापनेत संस्थेचे संस्थापक सचिव "पूज्य नारायणदादा काळदाते" यांचे मोलाचे योगदान आहे. ग्रामीण मागासवर्गीय विद्यार्थ्यांना शिक्षणाची संधी मिळावी या उदात्त हेतूने त्यांनी शाळेच्या स्थापनेसह मागासवर्गीय वसतिगृह सुरू केले. मागासवर्गीय वसतिगृहाच्या सुरुवातीच्या काळात धान्य गावातून गोळा करून गावक-यांच्या सहकार्याने वसतिगृह चालत होते. वसतिगृहासाठी सरपण जळाऊ लाकूड गावातील शेतक-याकडून विना मूल्य वसतिगृहास आणून देत होते. वसतिगृहास समाज कल्याण विभागाची 36 मुलांची मान्यता आहे. त्या काळात ये - जा करण्यासाठी वाहनाची सोय नव्हती. सणाच्या दिवशी "दादा" मुलांना बनसारोळा येथून वसतिगृहाच्या मुलांना गोड खाऊ घेऊन चालत चालत येत असत विद्यार्थ्यामध्ये शिक्षणाची गोडी निर्माण व्हावी, त्यांना आधार व प्रेरणा मिळावी यासाठी त्यांनी मोठे परिश्रम घेतले.
या विद्यालयाच्या स्थापनेच्या काळात "मानवलोक" या सेवाभावी संस्थेचे कार्यवाह मा. डॉ. द्वारकादासजी लोहीया (बाबुजी) यांचेही मोलाचे सहकार्य लाभले. सुरुवातीला शाळेला जागा नव्हती शाळा सुरू करण्यासाठी इमारत मानवलोक संस्था अंबाजोगाई यांचे कार्यवाह डॉ. लोहिया यांनी इमारतीचे मोलाचे कार्य केले. विद्यालयाच्या उभारणीसाठी व ग्रामिण भागात शिक्षणाचा प्रसार करण्यासाठी त्यांनी मोलाचे सहकार्य केले. त्यांच्या योगदानामुळे विद्यालयाची पायाभरणी अधिक सक्षम झाली. आणि शाळेच्या प्रगतीस मोठी चालना मिळाली.
परिसरातील लोकांचे योगदान व विद्यार्थ्यासाठी प्रेरणादायी उपक्रम: - साने गुरुजी विद्यालयाच्या प्रगतीमध्ये भावठाणा व परिसरातील नागरिकांचेही महत्वपुर्ण योगदान लाभले आहे. शाळेच्या विकासासाठी तसेच विद्यार्थ्यांच्या शैक्षणिक प्रगतीसाठी परीसरातील अनेक दानशूर व्यक्तींनी सातत्याने सहकार्य करतात विशेषतः 5 वी ते 10 वी च्या विद्यार्थ्यांना शैक्षणिक गुणवत्ता स्पर्धा विशेष प्रगती आणि विविध उपक्रमांमध्ये उल्लेखनीय कामगिरी केल्याबद्दल हजारो रूपयांची बक्षिसे 1986 पासून देण्यात येतात या बक्षिसाचे वितरण दरवर्षी स्वातंत्र्य दिना दिवशी केले जाते. पुढे काही वर्षांनी 1990-91 मध्ये नानाभाऊ सारसेकर यांची एक एकर जमीन शाळेस खरेदी करून दिली.

Under the visionary leadership of the founder of Shree Baneshwar Shikshan Sanstha, Banasarola, the late Narayanrao Ramrao Kaldate (Dada), a resolve was made in 1983 to light the flame of education in the small village of Bhavthana.

Students from Bhavthana and the surrounding villages had to travel to distant towns for secondary education — an impossibility for children of labouring and farm-worker families. It was out of this hardship that Sane Guruji Vidyalaya, Bhavthana came to be.

The school was named after the great social reformer Pandurang Sadashiv Sane — "Sane Guruji", whose entire life was devoted to children and society. This naming was itself a reflection of the Sanstha's own values: compassion, service, and education.

Sane Guruji Vidyalaya, Bhavthana, is an important centre of education in the remote, hilly, rural part of Ambajogai taluka. Founded in June 1983, the school has consistently provided quality education to students from rural areas for many years now. The school holds government recognition, with approval number S.S.N-1083/6797/N/Mashi-1, dated 23/05/1983. The institution has built its own distinct identity in the field of education.
Founder's Contribution and Inspiring Work: The founding secretary of the Sanstha, "Pujya Narayandada Kaldate", made an invaluable contribution to the founding of Sane Guruji Vidyalaya, Bhavthana. With the noble aim of giving rural, backward-class students access to education, he started a hostel for backward-class students alongside the school itself. In the hostel's early days, grain was collected from the village and the hostel was run through the villagers' cooperation. Firewood for the hostel was brought, free of cost, by farmers from the village. The hostel holds Samaj Kalyan (Social Welfare) Department approval for 36 children. In those days there was no transport available for travelling to and fro. On festival days, "Dada" himself would walk all the way from Banasarola carrying sweets for the hostel children, taking great pains to instil in students a love of learning and to give them support and inspiration.
At the time this school was founded, the invaluable cooperation of Dr. Dwarkadasji Lohiya (Babuji), secretary of the charitable organisation "Manavlok", was also received. Initially the school had no premises of its own; Dr. Lohiya, secretary of Manavlok Sanstha, Ambajogai, did invaluable work providing a building to get the school started. He gave valuable support toward building the institution and spreading education in the rural area. His contribution strengthened the school's foundation and gave a major push to its progress.
Contribution of Local People and Initiatives that Inspire Students: The citizens of Bhavthana and the surrounding area have also made an important contribution to the progress of Sane Guruji Vidyalaya. Many generous individuals from the area consistently support the school's development and students' academic progress — in particular, thousands of rupees in prizes have been awarded since 1986 to students from 5th to 10th grade for notable achievement in academic quality, competitions, and various activities, with these prizes distributed every year on Independence Day. A few years later, in 1990-91, Nanabhau Sarsekar purchased one acre of land for the school.

आमची शाळा दुर्गम डोंगरी भागात स्थित असल्यामुळे अनेक गावातील विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी शिक्षणाचे मुख्य केंद्र ठरली आहे. भावठाणा, सोनवळा, धावडी, राजेवाडी, विविध तांड्यावरील व परिसरातील विद्यार्थी येथे 'शिक्षणासाठी' येतात विद्यार्थ्यांचे पालक बहुतेक मजुर शेतकरी किंवा शेतीशी संबंधित काम करणारे असल्यामुळे शाळा विद्यार्थ्यांच्या जीवनात महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका बजावत आहे.

विद्यालयाची इमारत प्रशस्त असून शाळेकडे सुमारे एकूण 43560 चौरस फुट जागा आहे. यामध्ये सुमारे 14582 चौरस फुट बांधकाम क्षेत्र असून विद्यार्थ्यांच्या खेळासाठी सुमारे 18050 चौरस फुट खेळाचे मैदान आहे. शाळेच्या परिसरात वृक्षारोपन करण्यात आलेले असून विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी स्वच्छ, शांत व निसर्गरम्य वातावरण उपलब्ध आहे. डोंगरी भागात असल्यामुळे नैसर्गिक सौंदर्य आणि पर्यावरणपूरक वातावरण विद्यार्थ्यांच्या विकासासाठी उपयुक्त ठरते. वर्ग खोल्या प्रशस्त व सुसज्ज आहेत तसेच पिण्याच्या पाण्याची सोय उत्तम आहे मुलींसाठी मुतारी व प्रसाधनगृह स्वतंत्र आहेत भरपूर पाण्याची सोय आहे. वसतीगृहासाठी अभ्यासाची व जेवणाची उत्तम सोय आहे. परिसरात व वर्गखोल्यामध्ये सी.सी.टी.व्ही कॅमेरे बसवण्यात आले आहेत सर्व शिक्षकवृंद अनुभवी व मेहनती आहेत.

Because our school is located in a remote, hilly area, it has become the main centre of education for students from many villages. Students come here for their education from Bhavthana, Sonawala, Dhavadi, Rajewadi, various tandas (hamlets), and the surrounding area. Since most students' parents are labourers, farmers, or otherwise engaged in agriculture-related work, the school plays a vital role in these students' lives.

The school building is spacious, with the school holding roughly 43,560 square feet of land in total. Of this, approximately 14,582 square feet is built-up area, and around 18,050 square feet is a playground for students. Trees have been planted around the school grounds, giving students a clean, peaceful, and scenic environment. Being in a hilly area, the natural beauty and eco-friendly surroundings prove beneficial for students' development. The classrooms are spacious and well-equipped, and drinking water facilities are excellent; girls have separate toilets and restrooms, with an ample water supply. The hostel has good arrangements for both study and meals. CCTV cameras have been installed around the campus and in classrooms, and the entire teaching staff is experienced and hardworking.

दर्जेदार शिक्षण सुनिश्चित करण्यासाठी शाळेत विविध सुविधा उपलब्ध आहेत. विद्यार्थ्यांचे ज्ञान समृद्ध करण्यासाठी कथा-कादंबरी, चरित्रे, विज्ञान, कृषी व स्पर्धा परीक्षांशी संबंधित पुस्तकांनी सुसज्ज असे ग्रंथालय आहे, जे विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये वाचनाची आवड निर्माण करते. The school offers various facilities to ensure quality education. To enhance students' knowledge, there is a well-equipped library featuring books on diverse subjects, including fiction, biographies, science, agriculture, and competitive examinations; this fosters a love for reading among students. A "Book Bank" scheme is also available. The school has separate laboratories for science and mathematics. Facilities such as a dedicated staff room, administrative offices, and smart classrooms or projectors for digital learning are provided. Efforts are made to utilise modern tools like computer education and e-learning.

The school provides separate restrooms for students and teachers, as well as dedicated facilities for girls. Amenities include a supply of clean drinking water and a clean campus environment, with CCTV cameras installed to ensure safety. Considering the needs of the rural and hilly location, the school is equipped with solar energy facilities, secure compound fencing, and emergency safety measures.
